Whether you're a busy student or a 9-5 citizen, letting your schedule get out of your hands can be cause for frustration and exhaustion. Living in order relaxes you and increases your day-to-day productivity. As great as it sounds, the reality of the matter is that it's often difficult for someone to even begin to organize their hectic life. These 3 easy lifestyle choices can help you get a jumpstart on organizing your day, week, and month: 1. Invest in a plannerThe use of a planner is a repeating topic on my blog because I just cannot stress this enough: it is the opening door to organization. Take this first step and purchase a planner. You can splurge on a complicated planner, or a simpler version like the one I currently use. You can then begin to record your tasks, events and general reminders. Additionally, I like to set up a goal on each weekly spread that I will work on. 2. Clean Smarter, Not HarderBy taking time each day to tidy up your space, you can make organization an easy feat. Each day when you wake up, or before you go to bed, make an effort to do a small load of laundry, vacuum, or even organize your desk space. While you are cleaning up more often, it will become much less of an exhausting and daunting task. Additionally, your space will never get too cluttered when it is constantly kept tidy! 3. Make Saving EasyKnowing that you have a financial safety cushion can create great peace of mind, but remembering to save can be the downfall of your savings account.
To avoid this, I use this simple guideline: Save your hundreds, make your twenties last. Here is an example of this method: - You receive a paycheck of $270 - Put $200 in your savings - Make the $70 stretch for the week This is a foolproof method to quickly and easily save money, thus simplifying the process and easing your mind.
